Registering a successful launch of OPTIMA 3D, other products on the production line were looked at undergoing transformation for design, engineering and communication across every touch point.

The boxy look of the existing product had to be combined with the new defined style language. The key challenge was to optimize design and tooling cost by identifying parts which can be carried forward such that it has minimal impact on adapting new style guidelines.

This product was re-launched with new identity and packaging. The packaging too followed the visual architecture guidelines and elements to connote more dynamic and contemporary style of this product range. Adhering to the visual language, the key aspect of the packaging design was to complement the product and build synergy across VEGO brand portfolio. Using one of the style elements as a motif along with vertical brand identity and a ribbon running all around in brand colour gave the packaging a distinctive character and a strong presence in retail environment. Seamlessly flowing surfaces gave the product more integrated look. Sculpted tank with subtle transitions and tension in curved surfaces added the much required strength to hold the front panel and minimise the need of additional internal ribs. As for the GIANT 3D identity we tried to bring the product personality by infusing dynamic and larger than life character through typography.
